Nicole Foster Woollatt brings to Global Public Affairs an exceptional strength in the area of federal legislative processes. Having worked a number of years as the Legislative Assistant to the Minister of the Environment, she managed several legislative stakeholder groups and parliamentary activities, including overall strategy and tactics for question period, major pieces of environmental legislation and the activities of parliamentary Standing Committees on behalf of the minister. Nicole monitors activity on Parliament Hill alerting clients to emerging issues and advises clients how to best intervene with parliamentarians on an ongoing basis and affect legislative outcomes when concerns arise. Nicole is also responsible for the strategy, management and execution of Lobby Days.

Having worked previously as a Special Assistant in the Office of the Secretary of State (Rural Development), Nicole has a strong understanding of rural issues, community development and the importance of grassroots communication and applies this to her work at Global. Nicole has been active in numerous political campaigns and events. She is also actively involved with Equal Voice, a new multi-partisan action group dedicated to raising the issue of women’s under-representation in our national Parliament and legislatures and creating a climate in which more women will be elected. Nicole has a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Culture Studies with an extended minor in Political Science from Simon Fraser University.
