Marie-Sylvie Pruneau assists the organization, planning and logistical support of high-profile, issue specific initiatives such as Lobby Days, receptions, and fundraisers.

Marie-Sylvie joins Global Public Affairs from the Institute of Population Health at the University of Ottawa where she was the Administrative Assistant to the Director. Marie-Sylvie contributes extensive event coordination experience from her three years working with the Fairmont Chateau Laurier and internship as a Wedding Coordinator at the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac. She also worked in the hospitality industry in Paris, France.

Marie-Sylvie completed her Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management in 2005 and a Certificate in Event Management in 2008. She is now working towards a Bachelor in Administration at Université du Quebec en Outaouais.
