Graham Murray
President, GP Murray Research Limited
Graham Murray has worked in and around Queen's Park for nearly thirty years as a political advisor and specialist on the inner workings of Queen’s Park.
During his almost ten years at Queen's Park, Murray provided research on a number of contentious issues, including Bill 30 (the extension of full provincial financing to separate schools), the ban on extra billing by medical doctors, the bid for public auto insurance and the amendment of the human rights code to include sexual orientation.
Murray has practised in the government relations field since 1987, assisting a variety of corporations, associations and unions to influence the legislative process and the operations of the provincial government generally. He is extremely well known at Queen's Park, being acquainted with senior Tory and Liberal politicians as well as New Democrats, and with key officials throughout the provincial government.
As President of GP Murray, Graham produces the highly regarded Inside Queen’s Park and other associated publications, such as the Queen’s Park Monitoring Service and the Ontario Government Information Binder. These “must read” publications have cemented Graham’s reputation at Queen’s Park and with government relations specialists for providing insightful, thoughtful and timely analysis on government initiatives.
