George Christidis
Vice President, Industry and Innovation

George Christidis provides Global clients with an exceptional understanding of government decision making having served the senior levels of government at both the political and departmental level.

George has extensive experience leading successful government relations initiatives, providing strategic counsel to leading Canadian companies, key trade associations, industry coalitions as well as universities and economic development agencies. He has extensive experience working with clients in agriculture, energy, environment, economic development, trade, telecommunications and science and technology.

George leads the Industry and Innovation practice group responsible for servicing clients and setting the overall direction of the team.

Previously, George held various senior positions in the Government of Canada including with the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-foods, Minister of Industry, and other key portfolios. He has also served as Senior Policy Analyst for Western Economic Diversification handling climate change, innovation and regional economic initiatives.

In the private sector, George served as Director of Government Affairs for the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association and an Ottawa based consultancy firm.

George holds a degree in Political Science and another in Business Administration. He is fluent in French and Spanish.
