Allan Cocksedge provides strategic advice and insight into government operations to clients involved in international trade, transportation, tourism, border administration and information technology. An accomplished civil servant, Allan’s most recent position was Assistant Deputy Minister for Canada Customs at Revenue Canada where he oversaw the management of Canada’s border and the administration of trade policies.
Prior to this appointment, he acted as the Assistant Deputy Minister in charge of Tourism Canada. Earlier in his career with the federal public service, Allan served as the Director General for the B.C. and Yukon region of the federal Department of Employment and Immigration. Throughout his career, Allan has been involved in managing change within the federal government. He has acquired a vast knowledge and understanding of the people and processes that are essential to the government of Canada. He is also an expert in the systems that support the departments and programs delivered to Canadians.
