Andrew Bowles
Research Analyst
Andrew Bowles joins Global from Queen's Park, where he served as a Legislative Assistant to Peter Shurman, MPP. In this role his responsibilities included speech writing, researching issues for Question Period and liaising with community leaders and the media. From 2004 to 2007, Andrew served as Executive Assistant to the Niagara Regional Chair, coordinating the Chair's day-to-day activities with the corporate management team, with municipal councils throughout the region and with the provincial and federal governments. In this role, Andrew developed and organized "Niagara Week" advocacy missions to Toronto and Ottawa to raise the profile of the region with those governments. Andrew has an MA (Award of Merit) in International Relations from the University of Nottingham (UK) and a BA (Hons.) in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario.
